Daimler Majestic Major 1960 to 1968

Much like a big brother to the Majestic, the Major had the same platform and bodyshell, with some changes to the boot size and style, and a few other tweaks. The major difference was the new 4.5 Litre V8 engine. This allowed the big Major to out-accelerate and speed Jaguar's MkX, and it's handling wasn't bad either. Luxury abounded inside, and the autobox and power steering made it easy to navigate too. Unfortunately, this was the last Daimler, future models would owe a lot more to its new owner's current models.

The Major was fitted with a 700-16 crossply tyre as standard.
